Courtesy Call and Award Ceremony for the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) upon the completion of their mission in Cambodia.

I would like to thank the Malaysian government and appreciate the leadership of the Malaysian side for the smooth conduct of the IOT-AOT mission, as well as the participation of ASEAN member countries in supporting Cambodia, especially in observing and verifying the implementation of the Joint Statement and effectively implementing the ceasefire by visiting the site, seeing, hearing, and taking action on the actual situation, as well as compiling all past activities in the spirit of easing tensions and finding a peaceful solution in accordance with international law and treaties.

After the conclusion of the AOT mission led by Malaysia, Cambodia would also like to welcome the Philippines, which will continue to lead the ASEAN Observer Group in 2026.
