PHNOM PENH : On the morning of 5 January 2026, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a farewell call by H.E. Mr. Jo Scheuer, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Cambodia, upon the conclusion of his mission in Cambodia.
On that occasion, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister expressed sincere appreciation and highly value the contributions and dedicated efforts of the United Nations Resident Coordinator in fostering effective coordination among United Nations agencies in Cambodia and in supporting the country’s Sustainable Development Goals. His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized the indispensable value of peace in driving national development. In turn, H.E. Jo Scheuer expressed his optimism about Cambodia’s continued progress and development.
Both sides reaffirmed shared commitments to further strengthening the long-standing partnership between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the United Nations, in line with Cambodia’s national development priorities.
