PHNOM PENH : On the morning of 18 December 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call from Mr. Benoît GUIDÉE, Director for Asia and Oceania of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, who was in Cambodia as Co-Chair of the Third Session of Cambodia–France Bilateral Political Consultations.
During their meeting, both sides welcomed the positive momentum in bilateral relations and reaffirmed their shared determination to elevate the historic partnership to new heights. His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister also provided an update on the latest developments regarding the Cambodia-Thailand border conflict. Mr. Benoît GUIDÉE extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the Cambodian civilians who lost their lives and to those displaced by the conflict.
Following the courtesy call, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister presided over the signing ceremony of the Agreement on International Volunteering for Exchange and Solidarity and the Action of France Volontaires in Cambodia, underscoring its importance in promoting people-to-people exchanges.
