Thursday Afternoon, 14 August 2025, A seven-nation Interim Observer Team (IOT), led by Malaysian Defence Attaché to the Kingdom of Cambodia, and joined by other residents and non-resident Defence Attaché to the Kingdom of Cambodia conducted an observation visit to Prey Chan Village, O’ Bei Choan Commune, Srok O’ Chrov District, Banteay Meanchey Province. The visit was conducted following the reports of illegal barbed wire installation by the Thai armed forces on August 12–13, 2025. These developments occurred subsequent to the ceasefire agreement and the release of the joint statement during the Extraordinary Cambodia –Thailand General Boundary Committee Meeting (GBC Meeting) held on 7 August 2025, in Malaysia.
